Ads Gram: An Influencer Marketplace

Ads Gram is one of the major projects at Whitetower I worked on. We helped Ads Gram build their product from ground up developing an end-to-end solution. The final product is an Influencer Marketplace, where Businesses may 'shop' for influencers to promote their products and services. For Influencers, they may sign up to earn money from promoting these businesses.

Information Architecture

As a first step after stakeholder workshops to understand requirements, I drafted an Information Architecture for the marketplace. This includes the static pages as well as the two user role views for Business Owners vs Influencers

Paper Prototyping

To visualise the initial designs for the website, I did some quick sketches of the layout of the website before translating it digitally into Adobe XD. We wanted to understand:

  • How can first time users quickly understand the purpose of the website?

  • How do we distinguish the two types of users clearly and allow them to have a fluid sign up process?

Digital Prototyping

I then moved the designs digitally into Adobe XD. Below are a few of the wireframes. The main challenges included

  • Streamlining the process of creating campaigns,

  • How to search and filter for influencers

  • Displaying job completion which includes image upload and chat discussions.

Several revisions had to be made after discussions with the team at the end of the first sprint to optimise the UX.

e.g. the selected influencers in step 2 was moved from the bottom to the right side of the page for ease of visibility and considering users typically read left to right.
